A New Approach to Corporate Legal Work: Inside the Lawboss AI Legal Operation System
No in-house legal team? A walkthrough of the five compliance modules in the Lawboss AI legal operation system, and how each one handles a real case.
Who reviews a contract you do not fully understand? What happens when a labor dispute breaks out? A workplace complaint has just landed on your desk — what does a lawful procedure actually look like? Corporate governance and compliance obligations keep growing, yet many small and mid-sized companies in Taiwan have no general counsel, no legal department, and often not even one full-time legal staff member.
Legal issues do not wait for a legal department to exist. That is why Lawboss was built — jointly developed by De-Yi Law Firm and Yuanlv Technology, turning more than two decades of law firm practice into an AI legal system a company can use directly.
One workspace instead of scattered tools
The Lawboss AI legal operation system brings legal guidance, document work, case management and corporate compliance onto a single platform. It is not a question-and-answer bot: it is a professional tool that understands how these situations play out in practice and follows the work from spotting the issue through to producing the document.
Core capabilities
AI legal conversation
Ask about the legal issue in front of you. Lawboss retrieves relevant statutes, judgments and legal materials, and cites its sources, so you start from an informed position instead of an empty search box.
Document drafting workspace
The discussion carries straight into the draft. Drafting, revising and organizing happen in the same workspace, so nobody is copying text back and forth between a chat window and a word processor.
End-to-end case management
From intake through handling to closure, every case has explicit stages and a record. Case information and progress live in one place instead of being spread across messages, email threads and file folders.
Five corporate compliance modules
- Workplace harassment complaints — work through intake and investigation under the Act of Gender Equality in Employment, reducing the risk of a procedurally defective process
- Workplace bullying — clarify the handling procedure and the points that matter, with a complete, evidenced record
- Corporate governance — keep shareholder meetings, board meetings and related filings aligned with statutory requirements
- Trade secrets — establish protective measures and an inventory of what actually needs protecting, reducing both leakage and evidentiary risk
- Labor disputes — clarify the employment relationship and get ahead of common disputes such as termination and overtime pay
How it works in practice
When an issue arises — use AI legal conversation to characterize the problem quickly, find the applicable statutes and judgments, and settle on a direction.
When a document is needed — continue in the drafting workspace with the conversation's context intact, generating and revising the document directly.
While a case is running — all case information stays in the case management module, so progress is visible at any time without digging through old correspondence.
When a specific compliance situation comes up — the five modules supply a handling framework and the points to watch, so preparation happens before the problem, not after it.
Security and data protection
Each company account's data is fully isolated. Traffic is encrypted end to end over HTTPS/TLS, and case content belongs to the company using it — never shared or circulated between accounts.
Closing
Lawboss aims to be more than "an AI that answers legal questions." It is meant to be a legal operation system that fits into a company's everyday work: giving companies without dedicated legal staff a systematic way to face legal issues, and giving companies that do have legal staff fewer repetitive tasks and more time for the judgment calls that actually need a lawyer.
As legal risk and compliance obligations grow more complex, Lawboss combines AI with legal practice to make corporate legal work more efficient and more systematic.
